A. Best Western Plus Ocean View Resort is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention & World Health Organization's guidelines regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases. The wellbeing of our guests and staff is very important to us. We have taken these steps to help our guests with travel and staying healthy.
Enhanced cleaning efforts:
Rest assured our standard cleaning routines are very thorough; however, during this time, we have increased our efforts throughout the hotel. These actions include, but are not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces and frequently touched items in guest rooms and throughout the public spaces of each hotel. We're providing hand sanitizer stations at front desks, in meeting rooms and food service areas. We are also ensuring our team members wear gloves to clean all guest rooms and suites, and have disposable wipes with them at all times to clean commonly used surfaces like elevator buttons. It's also important to note that our cleaning materials and supplies meet or exceed industry standards.
The focus on cleanliness and sanitation is imperative to our daily operation and has always been a top priority for us. These additional measures will work to help ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for our guests.
Our leadership team is focused on ensuring your well-being during your stay with us. We continue to educate ourselves with the most current information available in preventing the spread of coronavirus. Additionally, we are currently following the direction of the leading authority, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and other health organizations to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep you safe and informed.
We understand flexibility is key during uncertain times and that's why we're adjusting our cancellation policies. Now through April 30, 2020, we are waiving cancellation fees for existing and new reservations. In this very fluid environment, we continue to monitor the situation and will revisit this policy as needed.
We are confident in our ability to provide you a safe, clean and healthy environment for you and your loved ones during your stay with us.
