What summer dates are available for a beach wedding?
For more details and availabilty please call or email a Sales Representative at 503-738-3334 x266 or The Summer Season is busy in Seaside we recommend booking early and to avoid the following weekends and holidays: Fourth of July, Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament in early August and the Hood to Coast Relay in late August.
How many hours does the rental fee include? 
Day weddings hours are 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Evening hours are 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. You can start and end anytime within that range. You can set up from two to eight hours before the wedding, depending on availability of the room. Quiet time starts at 10:00 PM in Seaside.  We ask that all guest be respectful of the noise ordnance.
What is the capacity for a seated dinner? Is there space for a dance floor/head table?
BEST WESTERN Oceanview Resort is ideal 150 to 180 guests for weddings which leaves plenty of room for the dance floor, buffet or extra tables. We can fit 180 wedding guests in the ballroom if you choose a plated meal or don't need a dance floor.

Do you provide tables, chairs, linens, china, and glassware? Are there any choices in styles if the previous is provided?
BEST WESTERN Oceanview Resort provide table, chairs, linens, china, glassware and flatware. White, ivory or black linens are available at no additional cost. Specialty linens, china and glassware are extra.
How many guests can sit at a table?
Tables are 60" across, suggested to seat eight people per table. Our professional catering staff can get creative by mixing rounds and rectangles to fit more guests or create a dynamic look for wedding reception.
Are cocktails/wine/beer allowed? What are the rules and regulations?
Outside food or beverage is not permitted in private banquet spaces. The exception would be, outside wine or champagne, corkage fee applies
Will other events be held at the same time/day as our wedding?
We never book two weddings at the same time! There may be another event on the other half of the day, but events will be spaced well apart.
Is the space air conditioned?
Is there an onsite coordinator? If so, will he/she be there the day of the wedding to see that details run smoothly?
Our Catering Sales Manager will assist you in planning your event space, food and beverage, audio visiual and guestrooms. Our banquet team will be present through your wedding to ensure you and you guests are well taken care of. We will accept deliveries and store them for you up to 72 hours prior to wedding. It is suggested that you choose to arrange a point person associated with the wedding to handle flower delivery, cake delivery, officiant greeting and like details.
Is there an onsite caterer? If not, are there kitchen facilities to bring in an off-site caterer?
Onsite catering is available.  Our Executive Chef and professional team with help arrange cuisine from our in-house restaurant, Salvatore's Café. We can help offer some local recommendations for your wedding cafe and we can also help by offering a complimentary cake cutting service to you and your guests. No, Salvatore's Cafe does not offering wedding cakes.
Are there any rules regarding photography and videography?
Your photographer and videographer are welcome to shoot on property but we ask that you be respectful of the privacy of our other guests.
For after the reception, would sparklers be allowed for our sendoff?
Sparklers only - no other fireworks - are permitted outdoors. We ask that you be courteous and clean up after yourself.
Do you have liability insurance? What are we responsible for?
General liability insurance is up to date. If you have a concern about personal liability, please consider event insurance.
How much of a deposit is required?
We require a 30% deposit with contract and prepayment 30-days before your wedding.
What is the cancelation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. Events canceled six months prior to the scheduled event date will not be charged a cancelation fee. Events canceled three to six month prior to the schedule event date will be charged 50% of the estimated value of the event and those canceled less than 90 days out will be charged 100%.
