  • What kind of hikes can I find at Tillamook Head?

Trails will appeal to both beginners and serious hikers. The easiest is the 3-mile round-trip, 400-foot elevation gain Indian Beach walk. A little more strenuous is the 3-mile World War II bunker loop with a 900-foot elevation gain. The most difficult is the one-way 6.1-mile trek with a 1,350-foot elevation gain.
  • What are my options for picnicking at Tillamook Head?

You'll have two picnic areas from which to choose when it comes time for lunch. You'll find one at Ecola Point and one at Indian Beach. Oh, and don't forget to bring your binoculars to check out the fun-loving furry sunbathers on Sea Lion Rock.
