Columbia River Maritime Museum. Located in historic Astoria, the Columbia River Maritime Museum displays an extensive collection of nautical artifacts on the West Coast. Oregon's official maritime museum, this museum features interesting exhibits, six galleries, the Great Hall and the Lightship Columbia, which interprets the Pacific Northwest’s storied maritime history.   TEST
Seaside Historical Museum. Seaside Historical Museum offers a taste of Seaside's early history. The Indian artifacts highlight the Clatsop Indians and beautiful, old photographs chart Seaside's development into the coast's favorite beach resorts. Check out the Victorian era Butterfield Cottage, which hosts special events, tea gatherings and tours. Call 503-738-7065.

Ecola Historical Marker and Cannon. A historical marker, commemorating the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery, a pleasant turnout and a beautiful forest view spreads out just north of Cannon Beach. The cannon, which actually washed up in Arch Cape, is a reproduction of the original that Cannon Beach is named after.
