Take a leisurely stroll along the Promenade or browse through the eclectic shops and art galleries along Broadway – Seaside’s "Million Dollar Walk.” Amble over The Carousel Mall for fun shops around an antique carousel. Discover new treasures at many fine antique stores in the area or at the Seaside Antique Mall. The best is enjoying Oregeon’s tax–free shopping at the Seaside Factory Outlet Center and other businesses in Seaside.

Oregon Coast Hiking and Biking. Peddle around Seaside on a bike or surrey rental from Wheel Fun Rentals, or trek miles of bike trails at Fort Stevens State Park. Explore hiking trails along the beach, and follow the path of Lewis and Clark along the north side of Tillamook Head – a seven-mile hike with spectacular ocean views from high cliffs. Oregon Ocean View Hotel Directions. The Best Western Ocean View Resort is between 4th and 5th Avenues, on the beach. Have a safe and enjoyable drive!

• From I–5 North/Greater Seattle Area – 198 miles/3.5 hours. Take I–5 from Seattle, south to Longview (130 miles). Take the Longview Exit #36. Turn heading west into Longview, stay on the main road for several miles to a set of lights. Take a left at the second light, following the signs to Oregon. Cross the Columbia River bridge and head west (right) on Highway 30 for 50 miles to Astoria. Highway 30 becomes Highway 101 at Astoria. Follow Highway 101 south through Astoria 18 miles to Seaside. Turn right on 1st (just past Factory Outlet Mall). Right on Downing. Left on 4th, 2 blocks to hotel.
  
• From I–5 South/Salem Area – 118 miles/2.25 hours. Take I–5 from Salem, north to Portland. Take the Highway 217 exit #292 toward Beaverton/Tigard. Go 7 miles to Highway 26 – Sunset Highway. Go west on Highway 26 toward "Ocean Beaches" for 72 miles to Highway 101. Head north on Highway 101, and go 3 miles to Seaside. Turn left on 1st. Right on Downing. Take a left on 4th, and go 2 blocks to the hotel.
  
• From Portland Area – 75 miles/1.5 hours. Take Highway 26 west from downtown Portland. Go west on Highway 26 toward "Ocean Beaches" for 72 miles to Highway 101. Head north on Highway 101, and go 3 miles to Seaside. Turn left on 1st. Right on Downing. Left on 4th, and go 2 blocks to the hotel.
  
• From Portland International Airport (PDX). 90 miles/1.75 hours – Take Airport Way (the road that exits from the Airport Terminal) to Interstate 205 South. Go south on I–205 for 3 miles to Exit #21B – Interstate 84 ( Banfield Highway). Take I–84 West toward downtown Portland for 6 miles. Exit on your left to Interstate 5 South. Take I–5 for 1.5 miles across the bridge, stay in one of the left two lanes, exiting left onto Interstate 405 North. Take I–405 for 1.5 miles to Exit #1D (right) to Highway 26 – Sunset Highway. Go west on Highway 26 toward "Ocean Beaches" for 72 miles to Highway 101. Head north on Highway 101, and go 3 miles to Seaside. Turn left on 1st. Right on Downing.
